What is Coaching? Who is a coach? What does a Coach do? 

 

 

A coach is someone who supports their client move from where they are to where they want to go or where they want to be.

So a coach works with a client in the direction of the present to their future. A coach does not work much in the direction of the past. 

A coaching process is more focused on the solutions and possibilites rather than the problem. 

A coach does not drive the client to their solutions, instead a coach has powerful conversations, asks questions, makes them think, become aware, so that the client comes up with their own solutions or answers. 

A coach is like a catalyst. 

Why work with a Coach? 

We all go through a time in life where we want to bring in change.

Change how you are communicating in certain situations , change a recurring feeling of an unpleasant emotion, maybe stop a habit of saying yes to everything, iron out differences in a relationship that is importnat to you and find connection again. Feel more motivated and focussed while you work towards your dreams and goals instead of feeling burdened or confused.

Coaching with NLP

NLP is a body of study, that gives us different tools and techniques that can enable us to bring in the change we are looking for. These tools and techniques help us in overcoming confusions, unwanted behaviours, fears, unpleasant emotions, begin accessing or enhancing confidence, self belief in certain contexts, get clarity about some aspects , design goals that are more well formed change, clarity of actions.

NLP stands for Neuro-Linguistic Programming. 

The pioneers of NLP studied human excellence and have provided us with tools and mental exercises for bringing in personal change and keep practicing being at your best more often. 

As an NLP Coach I will work with you using these tools and skills to assist you in overcoming and bringing in the change you desire.
